Welcome to a Toony Blunt IBT practice listening test. You will hear a passage on the topic of the K-Pop group BTS. After you have listened to the passage, you will answer a series of multiple choice questions. Please listen carefully and choose the best answer for each question.
BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in Seoul in 2013. The group consists of seven members: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. BTS is known for their energetic performances, powerful vocals, and meaningful lyrics that often address social issues and personal struggles.
Since their debut, BTS has become one of the most popular and successful boy bands in the world. They have released numerous albums and singles, many of which have topped charts in South Korea and internationally. Play the game MIX. Have your students gather around in a tight circle and then say , “Mix!”. Have them then weave in, out and around eachother as fast as possible and then say, “Pairs!”.
