Welcome to a Toony Blunt IBT practice listening test. You will hear a passage on the topic of exercise and health. After you have listened to the passage, you will answer a series of multiple choice questions. Please listen carefully and choose the best answer for each question.
Exercise is an important component of overall health and wellness. It has numerous benefits, including improving cardiovascular health, strengthening muscles, and boosting mood and energy levels.
There are many different types of exercise that can be beneficial to your health. Cardio exercises, such as running and cycling, help to improve cardiovascular health by increasing heart rate and breathing. Strength training exercises, such as lifting weights, help to build and maintain muscle mass. Flexibility exercises, such as yoga and stretching, help to improve range of motion and reduce the risk of injury.
It is recommended that adults engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week, or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity. It is also recommended that adults perform strength training exercises at least two days per week.
However, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting a new exercise routine, particularly if you have any pre-existing health conditions. It is also important to listen to your body and not push yourself too hard, as this can lead to injury.
Overall, exercise has shown to be an indispensable tool for fostering emotional stability, mental acuity and physical health and well-being.

Get a bunch of those small crazy bouncing balls from the toy store. Buy two of each color. Try to have an even number of students participating in this dynamic. If you have an odd number of students, keep one of the balls for yourself. Then have all the students stand in an open area, (if you need to, move the chairs and the desks aside). Bounce the balls forcefully on the floor and have the each of the students catch one. Once everyone has a ball, have them go around and look for the other ball with same color. Once everyone is paired up, have them ask eachother the questions below. Repeat the dynamic for each question.
P.S. Kids love this game!
